[Photograph QT] A persimmon
I saw a small persimmon tree in the yard of an art gallery in Insadong.
The little red persimmons dangling from the tree looked wonderful and everybody
was admiring them.
I used to come here often in the spring and summer but I didn’t realize that there
was a persimmon tree here because it was growing between some other trees.
But now in the fall, when I saw the beautiful red fruits, I could recognize it and
call it by its name, “Ah, you’re a persimmon tree.”
Seeing the blue sky through the branches of the tree, I smiled and prayed, hoping
that the Lord would call me by my name as well.
